About PxlTshirt

PxlTshirt started with a simple idea: personal fashion should feel playful, high quality, and technically well executed. We wanted a way to turn everyday photos into pixel art t-shirts without forcing people through a complicated design workflow.

In 2024, NIGHTFLY STUDIOS started building that system. The result is a pipeline that combines AI-assisted art direction, human-friendly editing controls, and production-ready print preparation so each design can move cleanly from upload to finished shirt.

We operate from Hamburg and print locally on premium organic cotton (180 g/m², Oeko-Tex certified) with water-based inks. That keeps quality high, shipping paths shorter, and the final product closer to what the preview promises.

Our workflow analyzes the source image, extracts useful composition signals, and generates original pixel-art interpretations instead of applying a flat pixelation filter. The goal is not just to reduce resolution, but to create something that looks intentionally designed.

That technical layer is paired with layout guidance for caption, placement, contrast, and preview fidelity. It gives technical users more to inspect, while keeping the product approachable for people who just want a great shirt.

DTG lets us print detailed multi-color artwork directly onto fabric without screens or minimum quantities. For pixel art, that matters: clean edges, stable contrast, and consistent reproduction from one-off custom orders to gallery-worthy designs.
