PxlTshirt was built in 2025 by Matthias Fahsold — a developer and designer based in Germany with over a decade of experience across software engineering, product design, and creative technology. The idea came from a simple question: why does custom apparel still feel so inaccessible? What began as a personal experiment in generative pixel art became a full-stack product, built solo from the AI generation pipeline and image processing to the 3D preview and checkout flow. Matthias operates PxlTshirt through NIGHTFLY STUDIOS, his independent creative studio focused on tools where technology amplifies human expression.
